HALO (Home and Lifestyle Options) organisation founders started with a strong commitment to community service, and this commitment continues to underpin all activities. While HALO is non-denominational, the grassroots governance structure has ensured our Christian origins are at the core of our ethos and purpose in transforming lives by expressing the love of Christ.

The Board has intentionally chosen to provide the highest level of skills with a particular focus on corporate governance, relying on constitutional objectives, powers, rules and procedures. In addition, the Board’s role is to represent and serve the interests of stakeholders by overseeing our strategy, policies and performance.

The Board acts in a voluntary capacity, with members elected on an annual basis from members of the association.

An Annual Report is published in October each year, alongside the narrative report and audited financial report for the preceding financial year.
